Academic vacancies in the School of Law

The School of Law welcomes applications for the following new academic posts: Professor of Law Applications will be welcomed from suitably qualified individuals in all areas of law, although we do have particular interest in developing or enhancing our standing in the areas of Energy Law, Environmental Law, and Property Law.

Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law Applications will be welcomed from suitably qualified individuals able to support the School of Law's teaching in Commercial Law (not including Intellectual Property Law), at LLB and LLM level, and in particular those with an existing interest and expertise in corporate and financial law.

Lecturer in Competition and European Union Law Applications will be welcomed from suitably qualified individuals able to support the School of Law's teaching in both EU and US Competition Law, and in substantive areas of EU Law in addition to Competition Law.

Lecturer in Private Law Applications will be welcomed from suitably qualified individuals able to support the School of Law's teaching in Private Law at LLB level, and the School's research in the area. Knowledge of Scots law is desirable, as is the ability to teach any of the Scottish Law of Delict, the Scottish Law of Property, European Private Law or Comparative Private Law, or International Private Law.
